The Hotel Turistsenteret is a redwood hotel built in a typical style and located on the island of Boroya in the Norwegian fjords, one kilometre from Stokmarknes. Guestrooms have neutral decor and Norwegian wood furniture; all are equipped with satellite television, direct dial phones, wireless Internet access, trouser presses and minibars. Bathrooms have hair dryers, makeup mirrors and complimentary toiletries. Cribs, irons and ironing boards are available on request.
The hotel boasts its own marina where guests can try their hand at fishing or scuba diving, while other onsite activities include miniature golf and billiards, a children's playground for the little ones, and a sauna for relaxation. Within the region guests can visit the Hurtigruten Museum, one kilometre from the hotel, or travel further afield for a whale safari in Sto, 85 kilometres away. Stokmarknes Skagen Airport is six kilometres from the hotel, an approximate driving time of five minutes.
